Video flicker; screen freeze

Zoom forced me to download a client update today (1/29/23).    As a result I can no longer use video when connecting to a meeting.

Or, rather, if I *attempt* to connect with video, the screen flickers continuously, there is line of colored boxes along the top of the screen, etc.  Zoom tells me that there are "insufficient" system resources and advises that I close all other applications.

 

The thing is... there were no other applications open at the time.  The "resource problem" is... Zoom.

 

The only way "around" the problem was to terminate Zoom video and use only audio.

Hi @SemperGrumpy can you share the version you're currently running?

 

I suggest doing a clean uninstall/reinstall of Zoom. Here is the KB on Uninstalling and reinstalling the Zoom application after doing so, let me know if that helps!
