Video delay on Zoom, but not other apps

Since switching to an external webcam, I'm experiencing a very long video lag (1.5-2 seconds) on Zoom, but not on any other apps like Google Meet. The only advice I've seen says to reinstall Zoom; I tried this, and it did nothing.

How can I fix this input lag?

Bump!!  I have a user that also is seeing this video delay when on external camera only!

This has been happening to me as well!  I've tried reinstalling Zoom multiple times. Doesn't work.  The exact same setup works fine with MS Teams, Google Meet, and Discord.  So it must be an issue within the Zoom app...

Its really embarrassing on work meetings!!
