Hi,
I’m experiencing a recurring issue while streaming a Zoom Meeting live to YouTube using the "Live on YouTube" feature.
Problem:
The video randomly flickers or flashes on and off (turns black for a few seconds and returns). This interrupts the live session and negatively impacts viewer experience.
Details:
Platform used: Zoom → Live on YouTube
Zoom version: 6.4.6
Device & OS: Windows 11 Dell G3 laptop
Internet Speed: 500 Mbps
Steps tried:
Checked and confirmed stable internet
Restarted system and Zoom before live
Closed all background apps
Repeated issue on different sessions
Is there any known compatibility issue between Zoom and YouTube Live, or recommended settings to avoid this flickering? Please advise any solutions.
Thank you!

First, are you connecting via WiFi. Connection needs to be ethernet.
Is 500mbps download or upload bandwidth? If it is cable modem then most likely it is download speed and upload speed is probably 10-20mbps. Processing and streaming video is a CPU and GPU intensive function. Try just streaming some video to youtube using OBS studio to see if there is breakup. Dell G3 is an insufficient description of the computer. Some versions are not powerful enough (i5 processor). Your streaming bit rate may be set too high. Also see the following for insights

Hi,
I have same issue, even after i switched to Ethernet. My internet connection are 160mbps/100mbps for upload/download. I just have this issue recently. I already tried using gaming laptops like Lenovo Legion, ASUS TUF with graphic optimizations, the issue still persist. So I think this is not an error from my laptops. Please if there is a settings or fixes that i miss, let me know.

Hi,
I am also facing the same issue from past 2 months. From zoom, I am doing custom live streaming to youtube.
For every 4-6 seconds, Youtube feed is flickering. I am using dedicated Ethernet connection and enough speed.
If anyone finds a solution, please let me know.
