Using meeting link and getting on from my account

I recently started accessing Zoom meetings from my laptop instead of my phone. I prefer clicking on the meeting link to entering the meeting ID and passcode, but when I click on the meeting link on my laptop, it connects me to the meeting separately from my account (and therefore without my profile pic when I'm not on video). Is it possible to click on the link and have it connect from my account?

Joining a meeting might prompt you to switch accounts if you are connecting to a work or school meeting with your personal account. You can select a displayed account to choose it, select to Sign in with another account, or select to Join as a guest.
