Updating to the latest zoom version 5.16.6

Hi,

I need to update to the latest version 5.16.6 but when i go to my profile the option for updates it's not there even when i click on the general tab and i can not see that option to enable updates

i have tried to call zoom but i get a message to say i have not subscribed to the live support option, can anyone help please as iam not able to have our meetings unless i update to the version mentioned above

Uninstall your current Zoom application.

Go to the Zoom Download Centre and download and install the appropriate new Zoom client for your operating system.

Oh my goodness thank you both, have been going round in circles for hours ney days and this was my exact problem. Frank you've clarified the solution and I realized that the current version on website was actually more recent than the version I was initially told I needed a few days ago so paws crossed. Phew, can now put the gun away and go to sleep.

Hi,

I was also facing the same issue and then someone suggested me to uninstall the current version and download new from below link. I did so and it is fixed within no time.
