Unable to update: error code 10001 on Mac

I am currently using version 5.16.2 (23409)
I got the banner saying that I should update, to 5.16.10
I clicked the link, see the popup with details about the update, click on install, and get "Unable to install updates: Error code 10001"
I can't find out what this error code means, it's not listed anywhere on this forum or through a more general web search.
I'm running a Mac Studio, with OS 14.3

I have been seeing the same issue for the past couple of months on my Macbook Pro, OS 12.7.3, with zoom version 5.16.10. I have not been able to find any information on how to fix it either.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I think I found a solution. I uninstalled Zoom from my macbook and then did a clean fresh install with the zoom installer downloaded from zoom.com. I am now up to Zoom version 5.17.10.

Well, the uninstall/reinstall sort of works. I'm up to 5.17.11, but it still says check for updates and still gives me the error.

Clear browsing data. Choose all time and clear Cached images and files. Restart Chrome and retry update.
