I have a blue background that I cannot disable. I've looked at other responses to a similar issue but it hasn't worked. I have uninstalled Zoom and reinstalled it and that doesn't help either. When I look at background settings, it shows NONE as the selection and I cant do anything.

the virtual background that you are seeing seems to be produced by the Mac OS, instead of Zoom.
When you are in a Zoom meeting, you should see a camera icon (white camera on a green square in the task bar at the top of your screen.
When you click on that, you should be able to set, modify the effects put onto the video in video meetings that are created by Mac OS.
