On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Unable to add zoom details on Outlook for Mac using Zoom add-in

Getting the message "Adding Zoom meeting" stuck when adding zoom meeting on Outlook for Mac Calendar invite. After a few minutes, it will give the error "We're sorry, we couldn't access zoom".  We tried different internet connections (Office Wifi, Home Wifi and Hotspot), we also tried with and without VPN but getting the same issue.

In May 2021 Zoom will no longer support the Plugin for Outlook for Mac. Zoom has replaced the Plugin with a new version called an Add-in.

Hi @Jameswalter , thank you for checking this, but yes we're using the Zoom add-in, it was also mentioned in the title. I attached a screenshot of the add-in we're using.

I have a user with this exact same issue (latest MacOS, latest Outlook desktop for Mac). User creates a meeting invite, adds an attendee, Zoom addin starts to plugin the meeting info, but it sits and spins and doesn't allow the invite to be sent.

 

@Jay-McK Did you try to recreate the Outlook profile for this user? I am going to try that next.

Yes, and I even wipe the machine, but same issue. Any luck from your end?
