Дніпровська міська рада є органом місцевого самоврядування м. Дніпра, Україна. Ми використовуємо платформу для проведення онлайн-засідань сесій ради вже понад рік. Нажаль, програма не має у налаштуваннях української мови та не розпізнає літери української абетки. Під час онлайн-трансляцій, в імені користувача програма замінює українські літери на знак "*". Також на записах подекуди повністю відсутні імена користувачів у їх віконцях. Ми вже неодноразово звертались із цією проблемою до вас.  Просимо вирішити її та додати до програмних налаштувань українську мову, адже мова є невід'ємною частиною української нації!

The Dnipro City Council is a local self-government body of the city of Dnipro, Ukraine. We have been using the platform for online board sessions for over a year. Unfortunately, the program does not have the Ukrainian language in the settings and does not recognize the letters of the Ukrainian alphabet. During online broadcasts, the program replaces Ukrainian letters with the sign "*" in the user's name. Also, sometimes the user names in their windows are completely missing from the records. We have repeatedly addressed this issue to you. Please solve it and add the Ukrainian language to the program settings, because the language is an integral part of the Ukrainian nation!

        Ukraine and Ukrainians are a significant market for zoom products. Zoom should care about their needs as customers, please add Ukrainian language support

            Dear @ZOT, could you please explain the reason of the Zoom company's ignoring the request of its users to add Ukrainian localization to the product?

            At a time when we, Ukrainians, are fighting for our existence as a nation, it is critically important for us to preserve the use of our language as our main national identity. And the lack of Ukrainian localization in such a popular tool as Zoom has a negative impact on the share of Ukrainian language usage among Ukrainians on their personal devices. And this entails a decrease in the use of the Ukrainian language in everyday life, which is a tendency to the assimilation of the nation and its disappearance.
            Therefore, please add support for the Ukrainian language to Zoom.

              I support it! Ukrainian should be in Zoom!
              The Ukrainian language is the language of free people, the language of a strong nation that has been resisting Moscow's aggression for ten years!
              Now Ukraine is the border that protects the entire free world from Moscow terrorists.

                Zoom's management believes that they will benefit from not adding Ukrainian to their Zoom. You're wrong! There is an equally well-known competitor to whom all Ukrainians will eventually switch (due to the lack of other alternatives that you are depriving us all of). Google existed long before you!

                      Zoom management believes that it is not profitable for them to add Ukrainian to their Zoom. you are wrong! Ukraine is literally the largest country in Europe by area, there are a large number of Ukrainians. Do you seriously think that the Ukrainian language is not needed in the application??

                        Instead of just filling the services with terrifying amount of AI slop that's only distracting from real purpose of meetings, you should care about localizing products to other languages, futile ignorance is no bliss anyway. Also the situation specifically worsens since on older Android versions (<13) user can't change forcefully app language in-place, and that requires changing whole system locale to supported one by Zoom.
