Tracking of participants if they give different names possible?

Hello,

 

We have regularly scheduled meetings in Zoom. There we want to track whether the participants were present. For this purpose, we use the names with which the participants gave us initially - e.g. "Dale Cooper". If the participants also enter the same name when starting the meeting, everything works. However, as soon as a participant specifies a different name, it no longer works - e.g. "Dale B. Cooper".

 

Is there a way to make the tracking work successfully even then? By the way, the meetings are public and registration for Zoom is not necessary.
