I am host of an ongoing meeting.  The recurring meetings expired, and I tried to reschedule it.  Some how it put another ID number to it.  i need help to fix it.  Also I think I have 2 profiles not sure.

Members are joining the old number and it says I already have a session in process.  I am joining the meeting from the Home part Join and choosing the meeting on the dropdown box.

I am so confused how to fix this.  Is there a way to get the zoom ID changed. back to the original

Hello community members,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately, once a meeting ID has been replaced with a new one, it cannot be reverted to the original. However, you may still be able to access and use the previous meeting ID by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Meetings > Previous or Meetings > Upcoming in your Zoom account.

  2. Locate the old meeting ID.

  3. If it’s still listed and editable:

    • Click Edit.

    • Re-enable the recurrence settings if needed.

    • Save the meeting to retain the original ID.

  4. If the old meeting is no longer available or has expired, you will need to send your participants the updated meeting link.

I would also advise using a Personal Meeting ID (PMI) for recurring or frequent meetings to avoid this. You can enable that under Meetings > Schedule Meeting > Use PMI.
