I have a zoom meeting link that has been active for decade. Recently, I would like to edit the meeting detail, such as setting alternate host, etc. But I don't have any handle to control the meeting detail because I have lost the meeting handle long ago (what I mean is, this meeting name does not appear when I log into my zoom account.)
Is there anyway to edit the detail of this meeting?

Hi,
Try these solutions to regain control of your old Zoom meeting link.
Regaining Control of Old Zoom Meeting
1. Check Meeting ID ownership:
- Go to zoom.us/meeting and enter the meeting ID from your link
- If it shows your name as host, the meeting still belongs to your account
2. Contact Zoom Support:
- Provide the meeting ID and proof of ownership (emails, calendar invites you sent)
- Support can help restore the meeting to your account dashboard
3. Search your account thoroughly:
- Check "Previous Meetings" section in your Zoom web portal
- Look under "Recurring Meetings" - decade-old meetings are often recurring
- Use the search function with keywords from the meeting name
4. Check for account changes:
- Verify you're logged into the same Zoom account that created the meeting
- If you changed email addresses, the meeting might be under your old account
5. Alternative approach:
- Create a new meeting with identical settings
- Update all participants with the new link
- This ensures you have full control going forward
The most reliable solution is contacting Zoom Support with your meeting ID, they can verify ownership and restore access to your account dashboard.
