On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Suspicious message asking for links?

Hello!

I've received this email from a supossed marketing agency to join them for an intro call. They sent me a Zoom invite over email, but they're asking for my zoom link back, is this real? I have never had to send my own personal link in order to being able to connect as they say?

"Okay but you need to send me your zoom link also to connect"

Thanks

K

No, not OK. My suggestion is never to send any of your Zoom info or personal information to an individual or a company you do not know. Even if this is a legitimate company, they do not need your Zoom information.

Thank you.
