During Zoom meetings many laptop audio systems produce inferior sound quality. In addition, at least some participants are hard of hearing. Moreover, it's quite common for presenters to mumble and/or have difficulty speaking clearly.
Given these nontrivial challenges, it's always shocking to me how few Zoom meetings automatically provide subtitles or, upon a request for their invocation, how many Zoom hosts lack the technical skills to make them happen.
IMO, it would behoove Zoom to make subtitles a default option or, short of that, make their enabling so easy that even a complete tech moron could do it.

ALL OF THIS! =ALLOFTHISALLOFTHISALLOFTHIS=
In Google meetings, I, as the user, just click a button and away I go.
In Zoom, f**ked if I know how to go about getting them working. The help files are completely unhelpful.
