Stop an auto recording when only using phone call in feature

We record meetings and after the main meeting is finished there is deliberation period that is not recorded. How can someone stop a recording and still have unrecorded discussions when using only telephone feature?

Hi!

If you'd like to stop a recording while in a zoom meeting, you will have to click the more button, and then hit pause recording.

You don't want to click stop recording, as this will end your recording session and generate a link for that recording, while pausing the recording will let you start over the recording again when you're ready.

How would you do this if all participants are on call in feature only not using the app?

I found it. The host would enter ** and then the host key.

All host menu options:

  • *4 to end the meeting
  • *5 to lock or unlock the meeting
  • *6 to mute or unmute yourself
  • *7 to start or stop the meeting recording
  • 99 to mute or unmute all participants
