Starting an instant meeting

It sounds like you are looking to use your PMI since the meeting ID is static/does not change unless you change it.

Also ensure that your "Use my Personal Meeting ID (PMI)" is checked to join your PMI when you click on "New Meeting"

To create an ad-hoc or instant meeting on your Zoom meeting client you have a couple of options...

1. Lookup for the contact you want to meet with on your contacts or chat list and click meet

2. Go to your Home tab on your Zoom Meeting application and hit the "New Meeting" button there, then invite participants or share the invite by your preferred method
