Spammers abusing Zoom's registration process

totally. if the tech team can build zoom, then your suggestions shouldn't be that hard to implement. I wonder why they aren't doing this. I see so many people reporting this uber annoying problem in the community but nothing seems to have been done to curb this growing issue.

unsubscribing from these spammers don't work because they will just setup new email accounts and reuse the same database of victims for spamming. 

I think zoom should give us the option of double opt-ing in for event registrations.

that way, even if the spammer registers a victim for his webinar, the registration doesn't go through and isn't confirmed until and unless the registrant clicks on the confirmation link in his email to confirm it.

and if a zoom account has a large number of unconfirmed registrations, the account should be given a warning and/or suspended until said zoom account owner proves that they are not spamming.

granted, not everyone will want to go through the hassle of double opt-ing in whenever they register for a zoom webinar or meeting. so perhaps not have this as a blanket requirement but as an option that zoom users (who are tired of being constantly spammed and having their calendars messed up) can set in their account settings.
