Sound quality of Instrument intermittent, voice is okay
Since the pandemic, I've been teaching chanting online using a Yeti microphone. The sound quality, with original sound for voice and my harmonium (a drone instrument), was excellent. I was plugged into the router with an ethernet cable at home. Now I'm in a venue with Wifi, which has worked, with some occasional problems with the broadband. To mitigate that, I've used my phone as a mobile hotspot with my mobile data. But that is not working now. The sound quality of the harmonium is waving in and out, even though I have enabled Original Sound. The voice sounds okay, apparently, but the distortion with the harmonium means everyone is giving up and leaving the class. I've turned off the audio setting to do with High Fidelity, echo cancellation and stereo. I've also tried turning off the "Signal Processing by Windows Device Drivers" (that turns on "raw sound.") Nothing seems to have worked. Suggestions?
