Something always interrupts my responses when chatting

Does anyone else have this problem? When I'm responding to a chat, in the middle of typing, something always interrupts my typing, and I have to physically click back into the chat box to keep typing. And it's gets annoying because sometimes, I have to click 5 or 6 times just to get one word typed. Also, I've noticed that when I go to pin someone's camera or select chat to chat with them personally, the cursor always gets deselected, and I have to click on pin or chat again and again just to select it.  I don't know if its because people coming in and out of the room, or what.  But is there a fix for this?

I have to run an older desktop client which does not have this issue.

Zoom ...  Please document and post the  solution when you have one.

This seemed to be fixed for several months, but it's happening again.  Has anyone seen any updates from Zoom regarding a permanent fix?  Extremely annoying!
