Show Captions for Spanish Not Working - but all other languages are working

In order to dig into your issue, could you please provide some more details?
Is you use case, that you want to show just the transcript of what is spoken in a meeting (e.g., the Russian transcript of a meeting held in Russian, or the Spanish transcript of a meeting held in Spanish), or do you want to translate (e.g., show the captions of a Spanish speaking participant translated into English)?

When translation is not activated, there is only one speaking language per meeting, everybody is assumed to be speaking in that language, and the captions will transcribe in that language.

When translation is activated, every participant in the meeting needs to set two settings:

1. The speaking language, i.e., the language the participant is speaking
2. The caption language, i.e., the language that the participant wants to see the captions in.

Further, participants can also choose to see the original transcript in addition to the translation.
Should a participant has wrong settings for the speaking language, the translation will in general not work. The host of a meeting can correct the settings of participants, so that they do not need to be bothered for that.

Some languages also have bilingual transcription models (i.e., Chinese, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese) are bilingual models that also include English. So, e.g., if you have set your speaking language to Spanish, the speaker can seamlessly switch between speaking English or Spanish, without having to change the speaking language setting.
