Sharing meeting recordings through a link fails with passcode embedded

I want to share a meeting recording on my website. When I go to the recording and click Share there is an option to Copy a shareable link. In that is the passcode embedded. When I use that link in my website I get a error when testing the link. It says:  "This recording does not exist. (3,301) "

When I delete the passcode in the link it works, but the passcode is required, which is not handy.

It has worked once, but every new attempt has resulted in this error.

Is there a setting somewhere that indicates that passcode are not required?
