Sharing a video via Quicktime during a meeting and got a paused video issue

I had an issue with sharing my screen in a meeting today.

I was trying to share my screen (Quicktime Player - to play a video). 

I've done this in the past and it worked fine. Today I got a paused video and was unable to play it when others where in the meeting. Screen sharing is set to enhanced encryption. 

I was trying to replicate the scenario after the meeting but do not have trouble sharing the screen/video if I am the only one in the meeting.
