On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Sharing a prepared whiteboard (Zoom update nov.'22)

Hi, I've experienced problems while sharing a prepared whiteboard (from the new Zoom option which offers templates etc.).  I share my screen via the normal screen sharing option, but the only thing you see is the old, blank whiteboard.

I've opened my prepared whiteboard before the online meeting, but during the meeting a can't share it with my students.

The whiteboard itself offers a sharing button, but then I have to add the e-mail-addresses of the students or I send them another (Zoom) link?!

One of my co-teachers mentioned I'd need a certain pro subscription for Zoom?!

Help!!! 🙂

For the new whiteboard, I think you need to select the Whiteboard button from your meeting controls.  You should have button on your meeting controls for whiteboard, or see Whiteboard listed under the More (3 dots) button.
