On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Sending Zoom audio to ProTools for recording

Is there a way to configure Zoom and ProTools to allow ProTools to record the audio of meeting participants and perhaps exclude the meeting organizer?

This on a Mac using a MOTU M2 interface.

Hello Gary,

Can you just mute the channel of the organizer using the Pro Tools software as the input is coming in to the MOTU? Zoom recordings will pick up any audio within the meeting session so this is more of a question of what the Pro Tools software can do to distinguish what audio to pick up and what audio to remove I would think. Please let me know if I am incorrect.

Regards,

Brandon

Brandon,

In this case what should I use as the ProTools Playback Engine?  The M2 or Zoomaudiodevice?

Thanks!
