Screen sharing breaks accessibility tools - Zoom steals keyboard focus on macOS when switching Space

On macOS, when I share my screen, Zoom steals focus whenever I switch Spaces (virtual desktops) in macOS. When this happens, Zoom receives all my keyboard inputs instead of the application on the screen.

 

I do not use a mouse and this is getting in the way of my accessibility of using my computer at work.

 

I urge Zoom to fix this; this behavior is not ADA compliant and is in direct violation of best practices for accessibility.
