Scheduling a meeting invites are not being sent

Within the past month or so, whenever I schedule a meeting and add invitees, they do not receive the email. I have to send a separate email with a Zoom link that I copied from the original. How do I fix this? It is very frustrating that people are not receiving the emails for the meeting. Please help!

Thanks,

Chris

I was able to figure this out with the help of zoom support via chat. Similar to your case, my recipients weren't receiving any emails when I set a meeting invite, up until I finish setting up the Calendar and Contacts Integration - already a feature with my subscription so didn't have to pay any extra fee. Not sure if you have set that up already or not, I'll post the link and step below for anyone else to give it a shot.

You may follow this to set up calendar and contacts integration:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Click Profile.
  3. Under Others, in the Calendar and Contact Integration section, click Configure Calendar and Contacts Service.
  4. Select a service.
  5. Change the permissions for the service.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to grant Zoom access to the calendar/contacts service.
  8. After allowing access, you will be redirected back to the Zoom web portal, which will indicate the permissions for the calendar and contacts integration.

Hope that helps.

And give complete read/write access to entire calendar ? No thanks.

I do not not want the entire world up in my calendar. Not going to happene. Manual invites it will be for me then. I have to manually change the timezones anyway, not to confuse participants.  Privacy concerns in 2025. Groundbreaking.

Same problem here.  It's as if Elon Musk is now running Zoom.   Until a few weeks ago I could scheule a meeting on the desktop app and get an ics calendar invitation on my mac calendar.  Now that ics invitaiton is not received.  Who knowws whether other people are receiving invitation.  ZOOM.  PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS.

Hello @bobby10, If you currently have a calendar integrated, your events will automatically export to that calendar.

If you'd like to export to a different calendar, you’ll need to first remove the existing integration. This will allow you to choose and connect a different calendar.

For users with a Zmail calendar integration:
You’ll need to remove the Zmail calendar from your profile by logging into the web app. Once it's removed, you'll be able to connect a new calendar.

Sorry.  Your upgrade broke the calendar integration.   If I try to reconnect the calendar I get asked to allow full permission to delete calendars.  Suggest you restore previous functionality.   Zoom is now broken

agree - the upgrade broke zoom - those of us who meet new potential clients every day over zoom can no longer use this.  this is your SONOS moment.  Please fix immediately or at least let users know what your service can be reliably used for.  I have escalated this at zoom help and no help.

this problem is fixed now - the problem was with the SPF configuration of my mail server.  send an invite to yourself and feed the "header" through chat GPT and ask what is wrong with it.  it walks you through the fix (if this is your problem).  but it explains sporadic e-mails getting through and not getting through.
