On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Scheduled meeting is messed up

I scheduled two meetings (review sessions) with my class, both were set to record. My camera light was on for both and I checked on the first one that it was indeed recording to the cloud. Each meeting lasted about an hour.

 

I now have a variety of recordings, but all of them are under a minute long. They all just include a single student (who were not sharing video). Also, I keep seeing that individual students join the meeting long after it is over, stick around for a few seconds and then leave. Then I get a notification that there is a recording ready.

 

I do not understand what is going wrong. I just want to share the recorded review sessions with my students.
