Saving subtitles to recordings once they are downloaded

I have worked out how to save the auto transcript in recordings as subtitles, and I can see them in the recording (when viewed in Zoom).
However, when I download those recordings the subtitles no longer show up - anyone know how to get the subtitles to save to the downloaded recordings?

I don't understand this solution. Can you please elaborate? I am able to see the closed captions when viewing the recording in zoom, but as soon as I download the recording and watch on my computer in QuickTime, the CC's are gone. How can I download with closed captions so they are available to watch and see when I upload the recording elsewhere? Thanks

I am also experiencing this.  How do I keep the subtitles embedded in the recording once I download it?
