I am working with a client and they can move the mouse around but cannot click on anything. I've looked around the forum and found nothing to solve my problem. Help!

hi @rwheeler,

install the latest windows client.  as of 3/10/2025 it is 6.3.11 (60501).

if that does not help, uninstall with cleanzoom and then reinstall.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the Zoom application

Did my response answer your question? If so, please don't forget to mark the reply as an accepted solution.

thanks, eliot

This did not work. It did update my Zoom app but the client still cannot click on anything.

I have the same problem. It only occurred recently. Prior to this all my students could use their mice. Now, suddenly no-one can use their mouse on remote control. I have tried clean Zoom and that did not work.

This issue might be caused by insufficient permissions for Zoom.

Kindly enable this setting in Zoom to elevate its permissions and see if that resolves the problem.
