Recording Security Issue: Passcode Protection Not Working

Although we enabled passcode protection for the recording, external users can access it directly through the link without being prompted for the passcode. This creates a security concern as anyone with the link can view the content.

Hi, @plutus 

Does the recording link contain “pwd”?
If so, it is most likely a link with an embedded password.

If you use a link with “pwd” and after removed, you will be required to enter a passcode.

In addition, unchecking the following items in the Web Portal settings will prevent the creation of links with embedded passcodes.
