Record only certain attendes

Hello I would like to be able to only record 2 or 3 people in a zoom meeting so I can get the agreement to publish and sell the given course without getting problema of copyright and of others. Is that posible if there is 10 people with the camera on is it possible to choose 2 to be on the recording only?

    Hi @grafikuss27 

    Yes, its possible to capture only certain participants in a recording, but it varies based on what sort of recording you are planning on using. 

    • If recording to the cloud (recommended for being able to capture different layout versions simultaneously), you will have to spotlight the participants you want to be captured. This may be a problem for you, as spotlighting keeps the video on these specific participants, and this may be an issue for those viewing the session in Speaker view, since they would not see the others with video on. 
    • If recording locally, its a bit easier as you will just pin the videos of those you want captured. This can help the issue mentioned above, as pinning a video only affects your personal view of the meeting, not other's views.
