Question on participant view

I am more often than not serving as a host and rarely just a participant, so am wondering about something.

I understand what happens when I spotlight an individual (or two).

But, from the participant side, do they have the option to change the view back to gallery and/or speaker?

Or are they stuck on the spotlight until the host removes it?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @CharltonChaz.

In a Meeting, each attendee has control over their own View setting in the upper right corner of the Meeting window. In a Webinar, the Host has control over the Attendee’s View, but the Panelists and Host/co-hosts can control their own View.
