I am used to share audio (Spotify music) from my computer with my clients. I also use a DJImic microphone for the sessions. This usually works great, also on the recording. Since the update (discovered yesterday in my case), this has totally changed. There is a lot of 'noise', the audio sharing option has moved and doesn't work properly. Some clients were able to hear music, others did not. The recording was also a disaster haha.
Last resort I shared the link to my playlist. But also the normal audio was different as a mentioned.
Someone else experienced this?

Computer audio is very complicated. Since it is not clear how the system is configured i will make some guesses. Be sure that sound for musicians is on in the upper right area of the Zoom window. If "noise" is white noise then be sure that the audio interface clock is set to 48K. If "noise" is environmental background you may have acoustical issues or need to use echo cancellation on the mic only. Since the mic is wireless sharing the same band with WiFi there could be radio interference. Gain structure may be set incorrectly. The receiver outputs analog audio, which is subject to "noise" from the computers CPU when connected directly to a mic input of an internal sound system in the computer. Analog audio needs to always go thru an analog to digital audio interface. Without knowing the exact configuration there are even more possibilities.

Thank you for you in depth reply!
The noise, is more like for example my hand in the table or on the touching my laptop, which was never registered before. The clip-on microphone is usually also super noise cancelling, more than other 'podcast' microphones I used in the past. Would you then still recommend the sound for musicians option? Because it seems like that could make the noise even worse.
Next to that I think the main problem is that there was no real sharing of my computer audio. The settings to be able to that were changed and in another location or so. I checked again today, and now I can do it like before: 'share' > advanced > 'computer audio'. This was not possible during that session.
I hope my next ecstatic dance event, it will stay this way 🤞.

I am having a somewhat similar problem. For years I have hosted a weekly zoom meeting and have been sharing Youtube videos and audios with no problems. Suddenly last night the audio portion would not work correctly -- it would fade in and out, mostly out and then turn into soft little garbled sounds. I then had another participant in another state try sharing several Youtube videos from her computer and the same thing happened! I updated my Chrome Browser, I uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom, I tried changing speaker settings, nothing is fixing this problem. Please help?
