Preventing the sharing of paid zoom classes link after Acuity Scheduling send out meeting invite

We are currently using Acuity Scheduling on our fitness website to allow clients to subscribe and pay for fitness sessions. But after they receive the link for the schedule classes, they are able to share the link and allow other non paying subscribers to join in. How can this be prevented especially if we are having hundreds of people register for a session?

Previously we where able to create a class in zoom and send out invites and prevent this by disabling the "allow registrants to join from multiple devices",  which was not a problem when dealing with a few clients, but by integrating Acuity Scheduling this has now been a problem. Help!!!

Hi @TyFit, Welcome to the Zoom Community. We're so happy you've decided to join!

I am sorry that you have not yet received a reply from the community, but I do see in our records that you were able to reach out to our support team for this issue. I hope that their suggestion of enabling the setting that only authenticated users can join your meeting while also enabling the host to manually control who enters from the waiting room was helpful!

I am excited to see how else you contribute to the Zoom Community 🙂

Unfortunately, Acuity will only provide the generic link (as far as I know), which can be easily shared. You would need to use Zoom's native registration or work with a platform that can create a custom registration page and connect/pass info to Zoom's registration.
