Presenter View in PowerPoint does not work on some zoom links

When I give a PowerPoint presentation, I use Presenter View so that I can see my notes and upcoming slides.  (I click ShareScreen, then I click Advanced and then Portion of Screen).  However, sometimes the Zoom link I've been sent does not accommodate this - and the ShareScreen, Advanced doesn't have the Portion of Screen option and I cannot use Presenter View - how can I fix this?  Does the person sending the inadequate Zoom link need to change something in their settings?  Thanks!

Hmmm.  I have given hundreds of PowerPoint presentations via Zoom using the Presenter View.  However, yesterday (March 27, 2025), this functionality disappeared and I was forced to use Normal View and "wing it" without my notes.  Sounds like this issue has been around for a while?  Solutions??
