Pre-assigned interpreters in a meeting

I planned a meeting and I pre-assigned 2 interpreters.

When the meeting started both the interpreters joined with the account associated with the email adresses I used.

I supposed they would be automatically recognized as interpreters, but this didn't happen!

So I manually assigned them to be the interpreters in the meeting.

If I planned a webinar and I pre-assigned interpreters...they are automatically recognized when they join the webinar!

Why the difference between webinar and meeting behavior? I didn't find any information about this difference on Zoom support.

Have you ever experienced the same problem?

Thank you.

Hi @ISAPoliTO

It sounds like you did the correct thing. However, the interpreters still need to take up their audio channels. Zoom does not assume they are live on translation when they join.
I would setup a test session with them to check
All the best
