Question

Pin number

How does one find one's pin or set a pin number in one's zoom account.  The great brains at Zoom have not made this intuitive.

Not sure what you are referring to as PIN no.

Each license holder has a personal ID for his meetings and can setup a passcode for it. This is setup as per the instructions here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/203276937-Using-Personal-Meeting-ID-PMI-

The PIN (For checking VM from an outside phone and/or hoteling into a common area phone) can be set in the individual account profile. It's located by navigating to Personal> Phone> Settings and then scrolling down to the "desk phone" area. That's where the PIN Code field resides.

    HI @Rod Gossman ,

I do not think the pin is within zoom.
In a windows machine, It is a way to login with your windows pin.

Create a “login PIN” for Zoom (via Passkeys)

Admin (if you manage the Zoom account)

    1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as owner/admin

    2. Go to Advanced → Security

    3. Under Sign-in Methods, toggle Allow users to sign in with passkey = On

    User (create your passkey)

    1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal

    2. Go to Profile

    3. Under Sign in → Passkeys, click Start using passkeys (or Manage passkeys → Create a passkey)

    4. Confirm your password, then follow your device prompts to create it (this is where you use/set your device PIN or biometrics)

After that, when signing in you can choose the passkey option and authenticate with Face ID / fingerprint / device PIN.

The biggest issues I have with this is that you then need to use it across all your devices, and they each need to use their own machine pin and not the pin for zoom.
