Pause Screen does not freeze screen

It used to be that when I paused a screen share, Zoom would just freeze the shared screen. Recently, that behaviour has changed. Now, I pause screen the participants see a message, "(hostname) has paused screen sharing." What changed? Is there a setting I need to fix? I am using Windows 11, Zoom Pro version 6.4.6.

Same here. It's really messing up with my classes, where I'm doing things related to the class on the background while the students used to see my frozen shared screen. I wonder why this new behavior, it doesn't make any sense - at least not making it configurable. Mac AND ipad being used here.
