Participants in standard definition flickering

Recently (past month or so) I've noticed the video feed for 1 specific participant in reoccurring meetings flickers. The flickering isn't noticed by everyone but it happens for more than one person. Said differently any time I'm in a meeting with Person 1, their video feed flickers (looks like it is quickly going back and forth between being mirrored and not mirrored). It doesn't happen for everyone but multiple people have noticed that Person 1's video flickers. I know person 1 has their camera set to standard definition. I don't think it's a hardware issue but something with software. I've tried checking and unchecking the acceleration and denoise options and it doesn't fix the issue. I'm on a Mac, but other people who have observed it are on PC. It's not a huge deal but it drives me crazy ha.

Cheers!

I have the same issue. I'm only seeing it for the video for one other participant. But I actually think it might be a hardware issue. It only seems to do it when she uses an external camera. It switches her to SD (not widescreen) and flickers. But when she's on the built-in camera on her macbook I don't see the flickering (although we haven't tried this for a full zoom call). But like you, I'm the only one seeing it. No one else on the call sees it and that's what is freaking me out and driving me crazy! Hoping someone figures this out. If only I can see it I would think it would be on my end but can't figure out what to change.

Do you by chance use a Mac? The only other person I've heard has this problem is also on a Mac. My best guess is it has something to do with how zoom handles the SD feed from participants. I was on a web meeting and someone else had SD video and it also flickered. I keep saying SD... I'm guessing that's what it is because their video is squared with black boxes on the edges versus the widescreen format other have.

I do. A macbook pro running sequoia

It has stopped, so guessing the update did the trick. Thanks!
