On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Participants Cannot Join Zoom Meeting

Hello,

Over half of our 130 registered participants could not join our zoom meeting today. They simply were told: "Login Failed." Those who kept trying were locked out. Is there a reason why this is so? How can we resolve this so that we do not have the same issues next time?

If you are experiencing issues joining a Zoom meeting using a meeting link or through the Zoom desktop client, you may need to manually enter the meeting ID and passcode. Follow these steps to manually enter the meeting ID and passcode. Log in to the Zoom desktop client. On the Home tab, click Join.
