I want to continue to have Otter Notetaker on my zoom call but want to eliminate it from the participant view.  How can I adjust settings to accomplish this?

Hi @AliSweet, welcome to Zoom Community! Otter Notetaker joins Zoom calls as a participant to record and transcribe. Currently, Zoom does not allow you to completely hide a participant from the participant list or video grid for others, however you can opt to rename it to something less conspicuous, but it will still appear as a participant. Alternatively, you can use Zoom AI Companion Meeting Summary and/or Smart Recordings to record and transcribe your meetings.

Meeting Summary allows you to easily generate smart summaries, note next steps, and optionally share them with your team. Meanwhile, The Smart Recording feature can organize recordings into chapters, highlight key takeaways, and identify action items.

This answer really fails the use-case.

The request is to not have the meeting space taken over by notetakers.  If everyone on the call has one, we'll have active (human) participants on page 2 and beyond, while the video board is being consumed by static video streams from note takers.

If a note taker could turn off it's video, just like a human participant, that would do the trick.

Somehow, otter.ai got added to my Zoom account without me being aware it had happened. I don't want it; how can I remove it?
