On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Hi,

Is there a Zoom official site where I can download some old versions of Zoom.   I want to test the deployment of Zoom Cleaner on some old versions to make sure that it is cleaning everything either in the program files folder or the user profile.

Thanks

@JM143 - There is, but it requires you to know the version number that you want to download.  You would want to go to https://zoom.us/client/[insert version number]/ZoomInstaller.exe.

For example, to get the version 5.9.6.3799 of the Zoom Windows client:

https://zoom.us/client/5.9.6.3799/ZoomInstaller.exe

Hi Colegs,

Just tried a few different versions and the site returns "Forbidden".

@JM143 - Did you try the link in the response above?  I used that in a couple of different scenarios and it downloaded each time.

Hi,  Yes I tried the link with different versions (5.7.1105.0, 5.8.1435.0, etc).   It is forbidden every time.  The URL is redirected to https://CDN.zoom.us/... and it returns Forbidden.

Hi
Of course you are not able to download it that way, since you are trying to use some strange, incorrect version numbers... I don't even know where did you take that version format from...

Zoom is using 3 numbers for the "main" version and the bigger number for current build. Eg. right now - 6.4.2 (62735).
So in the URL provided by colegs, that would be 6.4.2.62735 instead of 5.9.6.3799.

As for specific numbers for version that you want - you can find it in release notes page.
