I have a Windows 11 Dell laptop. During Zoom meetings, the sound on my computer works fine. But the second a Zoom meeting ends, the sound on my computer stops working for both the built in speakers and external speakers. This happens every time.
Troubleshooting sound problems does not fix the issue. My sound drivers are up to date. The only way I've found to fix this problem is to restart the computer. Since I often am going from one Zoom meeting straight to the next, restarting after every meeting is massively disruptive and inconvenient. Anyone else running into this issue? How do I fix it?

I have the exact same issue. I am using an HP external monitor connected to a laptop. As soon as the Zoom meeting finished, I lost all sound from the monitor. It works fine on the laptop but nothing on the monitor.
I tested the sound on the external monitor on another laptop and it works fine.

SOLUTION:
Turn off monitor, unplug everything from monitor including power cable. Plug everthing back in. Sound works.
