New compose button in lower lefthand corner is blocking Mac finder button

This discussion format isn't very helpful if I can't post a screen shot. In any case there's a new Zoom button that appears in the lower lefthand corner of the screen when I'm sharing my screen in a Zoom meeting, and it effectively blocks the Mac finder button, which is in the same place, and which I would like to use to access documents I want to share on my screen. What workarounds do people recommend?
