I cannot work out why this is happening. I have updated profile to ensure has correct first and last name and yet once in a zoom session I cannot edit my name and its appearing as Surname, first . Help with this please .....

Are you changing "First Name" and "Last Name" or "Display Name"?
There is a difference. It sounds like Display Name is what you actually want to change.
