NEED help accessing paid subcription recording.

I held a meeting last Friday that followed all of the steps to record and not that I am trying to access the recording It says not found. What am I doing wrong? I put in my meeting infoand it says no recordings found. I have gone to my account, recording and it not here, I cannot remember if I did a cloud recording or a computer recording.

 

1. How can I check which one I did?

By default, local recordings will be placed in following directory:

  • Windows: C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\Zoom
  • Mac: /Users/[Username]/Documents/Zoom
  • Linux: home/[Username]/Documents/Zoom

Did you record to the cloud here at Zoom, or did you record onto your computer?

My computer I believe. Where can I go to view it? Im so sorry I am tech challenged.

I am a dingbat where or how do I locate this C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\Zoom  in my computer?

I'm sorry for the late response. First, replace the "[Username]" with the name of your computer.  

  • Open File Explorer:

    • You can open File Explorer by pressing "Win + E" on your keyboard or by clicking on the File Explorer icon in the taskbar or Start menu.

  • Navigate to the Documents Folder:

    • In File Explorer, navigate to the "Documents" folder. Typically, the path will be C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\Zoom.

  • Use the Search Box:

    • Once you are in the "Documents" folder, you will see a search box near the top right corner of the File Explorer window.
