My Bluetooth earphone continually get switched to a different speaker

On my MacBook Pro, my zoom client regularly boots my blue tooth earphones out and chooses a different speaker. The earphones work on other apps with no problem at the same time.

Running latest version. Earphones are Phonak Lumity 90 hearing aides -- which work better than any other bluetooth ear buds when they are working
