Missing Recording Button

Hello,

 

I have read about a similar error with many other users historically and some that are in different situations than myself.  I have an individual business license for Zoom (and am the administrator of my account) but am missing the recording (and whiteboard) buttons.  I have tried a few troubleshooting steps so far.  For the purposes of this discussion, I am talking only about local (not cloud) recordings.

 

1. I've checked the storage location for local recording storage (and the folder exists).

2. Under the web profile settings, record to computer files is enabled.

3. If I turn on automatic recordings (which I don't want to happen all the time), recording does start.  This doesn't add the recording or whiteboard buttons.

4. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the application, without success.

 

Does anyone have any other ideas or steps I can take to troubleshoot this?  It is frustrating.

Hello,

 

These features have be allowed at the global account level and at the individual user account level. Have you verified that they are enabled in both places?

 

 Globally - Account Management > Account settings > Recording > Record to computer files

Personal User - Settings > Recording > Record to computer files

Record to computer files is checked already in both places, unfortunately.
