Microphone not detected

For the past two months I have been receiving a popup stating the my microphone is not detected. At this point no one can here me and I lose all Zoom controls. I have been advised by Zoom to uninstall and reinstall. I have done that three times. Zoom has sent a cleanup package that has proven ineffective. 

 

I have a brand new Dell computer and a brand new Logitec camera/microphone. This problem has occurred FOUR times over the last eight days alone and is causing me to miss and drop out of NECESSARY meetings. Someone PLEASE help me fix this problem. I just received my latest invoice from Zoom so I know someone is working, at least in the billing department.

what logitech camera/microphone are you using?

 

check for logitech firmware updates by using logitune

Logi Tune - Software App for Webcams, Headsets & Logi Dock (logitech.com)

my brio needed an firmware update

do you have any issues with the camera?

 

a couple of suggestions from a support article:

 

Your device might not be connected properly, please follow the steps below ⬇️

☑️ Check if the microphone, speakers, or headphones are plugged in and not muted.

☑️ Unplug the device and plug it back in.

☑️ If it’s a bluetooth device, ensure that it is turned on and connected properly.
