Microphone input level not adjustable using my GoII Wireless Rode mic

I have a wonderful lavalier mic, RODE GoII Wireless. When using it in Zoom, I cannot adjust the input level manually -- also the "Automatically adjust microphone level" box is greyed out.

I contacted RODE , followed their troubleshooting steps, including removing Zoom from my Mac, then redownloading it. Their steps made no difference in my results.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? I have a friend with the same mic, also using a MacBook Pro, who is able to adjust his GoII Wireless mic using Zoom audio controls.

I have the same issue with a Samson go mic. Did you find any answer?
